Podcast series now available
In May 2023 the Centre for Marian Studies joined with the Initiative for the Study of Asian Catholics (ISAC) to host an online conference entitled "More Universal than Catholicism? Mary among Asian Religions". The event was a great success and we enjoyed papers on this fascinating topic by scholars from a range of different countries.
After the conference, Hisako Omori, a Japanese anthropologist, re-interviewed each of the speakers to give them the opportunity to engage in less formal conversations about their research. The resultant podcasts form part of ISAC's laudable efforts to promote scholarship beyond academic circles. Thanks to the generous financial support of UCANews, six of the podcasts are now available (and more will be added in time). We are very grateful to ISAC for sharing this resource with us.
