The Centre for Marian Studies has joined forces with Sarum College in Salisbury to offer a number of one-day courses on the Virgin Mary. Catherine O’Brien will be focusing on films that retell Mary’s story in “The Life of the Virgin Mary on Page and Screen” on Monday 9 December 2019. Then, on Saturday 29 February 2020, Chris Maunder will be leading a course entitled "Marian Apparitions and Shrines”, which will cover shrines and apparitions of Mary in modern (19th and 20th century) Roman Catholicism, with a special emphasis on Europe.
We hope that this will be the start of a happy collaboration.
